"The most unbelievable wine place in Bratislava. Behind a well looked-after neat little garden, there is a hidden kingdom of the owner and his friends. They update their wine list frequently. All this for truly unbelievable prices and a very attentive service by the owner himself. The birch tree, that inspired the name of this place, was nowhere to be found, but this at least gives us a topic for further discussions. At the end of the evening a well deserved barfly has invited us for a grill party tomorrow and promised to grill a pork knuckle for us. I am thrilled, the tradition of the Bratislava wineries has come back to life… And if you are lucky, the owner will read the cards and tell you your fortune."
